Cindy's Antique Quilts

Display of Antique Quilts Beacon Blankets

Double Nine Patch Quilt - SOLD

(Item: Q-908)

Check out this reasonaby priced Double Nine Patch antique quilt. The condition of this early quilt, circa 1870 and some earlier fabrics, is very good with only some toning and a few pops/deterioration in some of the blocks. The scale of the blocks is only 1 inch. The hand quilting is done at 8-9 spi. Look at some of the fabrics for examples of that earlier time period. See the turkey red and the madders. The separate binding is stitched on by hand.  The quilt came from the Maurine Agnew estate in Paris, Missouri.

Circa:  1870's
