Cindy's Antique Quilts

Offering this stunning circa 1930's quilt, an Autumn Leaves Quilt. It is in excellent condition and is such a beauty. Superb hand quilting at 10 spi and detailed quilting designs in the ground.  Small scale prints  used for the leaves and a green for the curving vine. Love how the vines and the inner borders work to make this so attractive. A medallion style quilt that appeals to so many. There is a separate hand stitched on binding.  It displays so nicely and can be hung on a wall or shown on a bed.  All the applique is done by hand and the quality shows in this quilt throughout. This pattern was designed by Anne Orr. It was also sold by Needlecraft Supply Company. There's a quilt similar to this quilt pattern that won Honorable Mention in the Chicago Worlds Fair Sears National Quilt Competition in 1933. Ohio
