Cindy's Antique Quilts

This well made circa 1930's Flower Garden quilt is made with small pieces,, 11/4 inch hexagons,, and is in mint,, unused condition. Looks to be never washed and very well made. This pattern also looks like a hexagonal star when viewed from a few feet. The little cluster of green hexagons make this different than the usual pattern.  The diagonal cross hatch hand quilting is at 7-8 spi. Hand pieced and the separate neat binding is also stitched on by hand.   Quality quilts of this pattern and scale are very desirable. Imagine piecing all those small hexagons!! Looks great displayed  and a super nice quilt for a collection. Note the detail of the border. Illinois estate.
