Cindy's Antique Quilts

This is a super extra nice Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt. Note the extra small pieces.  The hexagons are only an inch big, or more like an one inch small! This quilt has the green hexagons in between the gardens. There are so many ways to set a flower garden together depending on the prints/solids used, and this is a very attractive way in doing it. Also the edge is quite unusual, as the maker kept each hexagon and did not cut them off making a straight border. Then it was bound using the knife edge method.  Quality abounds in the making of this quilt. It displays so nicely and great for a collection or to enjoy. A true keepsake.
