Cindy's Antique Quilts

Offering this special early Sampler Blocks quilt in "as is" condition. It is all hand appliqued and is also nicely hand quilted.  There is lots of fine hand quilting on the quilt. 25 different blocks. Of the 25, approximately 13 have popping of fabrics in various stages, several about 4-5 are good and the others have various wear. This was a quilt I personally kept intending to do some restoration, but have decided to offer it for sale. The binding could be replaced with antique fabric if desired, as it was trimmed off at some time many years ago due to lots of wear, but the ground fabric is in very good condition and shows no wear or damage. There is some age marks or fold lines and the quilt has not been wet washed.  With the discussion on Facebook with several quilt historians and enthusiast, one of the blocks appears to be similar to the Apple Pie Ridge Star block.( Please correct me if I am incorrect about this). The quilt could be Quaker, but I will leave the research to those that specialize in that field.  These early dated quilts are not easily found, and being a sampler too.  Acquired in Massachusetts.
