Cindy's Antique Quilts

This Cayuse Indian Trade blanket is in excellent condition. It still retains the original Pendleton Woolen Mills, Cayuse Indian Blanket tag in the corner. It is the 3rd Pendleton label regarding the dates of labels. The colors  on the  black ground include shades of red, cheddar, green and more.  A very handsome blanket.  This is a 9 element blanket. There is a blanket like this pattern on page 146 in the book, Language of the Robe by Robert Kapoun. The wool blanket displays well and has a more uncommon pattern.  The original felt binding is attached and is in great condition. A wonderful blanket for a collection.
