Cindy's Antique Quilts

This handsome Tepee pattern trade blanket produced by the Pendleton Woolen Mills and is a Pendleton blanket and is in excellent condition. It lays flat and  displays great on a wall. It is a wool blanket and has the original felt binding, of which there is some slight wear only on the binding as shown. The original tag in the corner is not readable, but is still partially there. Wondedrful colors of browns, green, some red and camel make up the shades of the blanket. There is a blanket like this pictured in the book, Language of the Robe by Robert Kapoun on page 161. It mentions in the book that "this was one of the most popular blankets produced". A great patterened blanket that  displays well and would be wonderful to add to a collection. #pendletonindianblanket
