Cindy's Antique Quilts

Offering this attractive Rose Applique or has a name of American Beauty quilt with a scalloped border. The appliques in the corners and the vines on the sides really set off the central bouquet of flowers, stems and leaves. This is a late  1940's kit quilt. It was a Progress kit, I believe.  It is all hand quilted  at 6-7 spi and is hand appliqued.  There is beautiful cable feathered cable quilting and also grid patterns in the ground areas. The separate green binding is put on by machine.  There's a couple loose spots on the binding to restitch down. The condition is excellent and has had a bath so is ready to use and enjoy.  This quilt looks great on a bed or can also be hung on a wall as "flower art".  Massachusetts...... I have another one of these on the web site, Q-732,,, American Beauty, so if available, could be put to use as a pair!!
