Mohawk Trail Quilt - SOLD(Item: Q-602)
This is a wonderful pattern and the condition of this quilt is mint, as it looks unused and has had one rinsing. The pattern Mohawk Trail or sometimes called Baby Bunting shows the variation of how a fan block can be put together. This maker used a variety of prints for the triangles and a pretty solid blue for the base of the fan. The quality of workmanship is very good looking at the points in the fan. The hand quilting is also fine at 8-9 spi. Lots of extra quilting went into this quilt as one can see the rows of quilting in the fan base and a pretty pattern in the white ground areas. The separate binding was stitched on by machine. Both hand and machine pieced. Generous in size so may be used on a variety of beds or great to hang. Acquired in the Boonsville, Indiana area.
