Cindy's Antique Quilts

This is a beautiful applique quilt with blooms of magnolias. The quilt is in excellent condition and is ready to enjoy,, been washed and is clean and fresh. It is all hand quilted at a nice 7 spi and also hand appliqued very well. The separate pink binding is stitched on by hand. This was a kit quilt and a popular kit at that, kit quilts came out in the 1920's, 30's, 40's and still do. Matter in fact I just added another magnolia quilt to the web site,, only difference is the other quilt has a narrow pink strip appliqued circling the floral center. Take a look at it too, quilt q-545. Would make a nice pair of quilts if one desired, as they really compliment each other. This quilt still shows faintly the blue dots for the quilting lines. This quilt has very good workmanship and displays well. Size is 76x88. Acquired in CA.
