Cindy's Antique Quilts

Pink and White Kite Quilt (q-399)- Circa 1920's-30's, size 69x77. This quilt is in very good conditon. The batting has the old what looks to be the hand carded cotton with the seeds in it. It is all hand quilted at 5 spi. It looks like old off white feedsack backing , which I just now see has one dime size hole only the back, a quick mend. For the binding the backing is brought to the front and machine stitched down. A very usable quilt and priced right in colors of pink and white. A fun quilt to decorate with also.

A kind note was sent to me regarding this quilt and the pattern name,,, so please read the following concerning this quilt. I think this quilt pattern is "Arabic Lattice", Ladies Art Company No 413. The actual block's center is the four-patch block on point, with large triangles on the outside of the block in alternating colors. I always appreciate corrections on the name of patterns, as many have several names and some just look like a familiar pattern, but have another name.
